Taft is a mixed-media artist born in Minnesota, USA and shaped by years of living across diverse states and countries. Working in mixed medias and collage, he builds from found imagery—tearing, cutting, and layering visual material into compositions that explore human vulnerability, spirituality, and life's transitions.
Because every found image carries its own history, Taft views the process of deconstruction and reassembly as a profound metaphor for change. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design and is a July 2026 artist-in-residence at R.A.R.O. in Barcelona, Spain.
